Each citation consists of two parts. The number before the decimal point designates the box containing the desired information. The number after it designates a specific group of folders. For example, 87.1 follows Wage and Hour Bill. By consulting the register, the researcher would locate under Box 87 Legislative Correspondence 1938: Reorganization Bill (folders 1.1 – 1.23). He then would scan the register under Legislative Correspondence 1938: Reorganization Bill to find specific folder(s) containing the desired material.
