Presented by Terry Baker Author Terry Baker discusses all known hangings and lynchings in Dallas County from 1853-1920, including subjects such as the first woman legally hanged in Texas, acts of vigilantism, and the last legal hanging in Dallas.

Terry Baker spent 39 years in the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department. He worked as the Captain and commander of the “Old Jail” downtown and retired with the rank of assistant chief deputy.
