Dallas History Items: Two Men, circa 1946

Two Men

Do you know either of these men?

Many photos are donated to the Historical Society with no identification at all. This is one of the more interesting recent ones. The man at right is the 1940 Golden Gloves Champ--he's the boxer in the photo on the wall at middle right. Collins started his photographic career in Dallas in 1946; so, this photo was taken after World War II, but that's all we know.

If you have any questions or comments about this photo, post a message on our Message Board. What else would you like to see online? Let us know what you think!
