About this event

Join us for the “SOUL OF DFW” Food and Black History Bus Tour for this special edition tour as we discover stories of Dallas’ Juneteenth connections. Private viewing the original Order #3, also known as “The Juneteenth Document” and tour two sites that are traced back to the original Dallas Juneteenth locations! This is not a typical “Soul of DFW” tour, complimentary mimosas, celebratory Juneteenth-inspired cocktails and a trip to where it all started. Visit a 19th century Black-owned farm for tour and complimentary lunch/picnic on grounds. Next travel with us to Joppa, one of the best-preserved Freedmen’s towns, to celebrate their 150th anniversary! Purchase food from community food trucks, special presentations, dancing and MORE! Take in the sites stress-free and with a fun group of fellow history lovers while exploring the tastes of DFW from the comfort of a chauffeured bus.
