Join the Dallas Historical Society and Preservation Dallas for a special book event with the author of the new book. The book covers the fascinating history of Braniff International Airways, beginning with its small-town Oklahoma roots to its move to Dallas and its high-flying and stylish span of the globe. Braniff brought together the mystery of aviation with the glamorous fields of fashion, art, and design, and it taught the world how to fly with style and beauty.

Preservation Dallas Executive Director David Preziosi will interview the author, and Dallasite, Richard Benjamin Cass about his work in bringing the colorful story of Braniff to life in this new book from Arcadia Publishing. He is also the founder of the Braniff Airways Foundation which joins together interested parties in promoting Braniff’s history and to assist in the preservation of Braniff related sites. A special part of the discussion will be the role Braniff played in Dallas and the legacy it has left behind in the city.

Books will be available for purchase and signing by the author at the event.
