May 14, 2008 Noon-1:00pm Brown Bag Lunch: Texas Forts, guest speaker,Garland Richards.

May 15, 2008 6:00pm-9:00pm The Lost Forts: Ft Chadbourne, Film Premier. A reception will begin at 6PM in the Great Hall and run until 7PM. There will be a catered reception with live 19th century music. The films creator David Carter, of Dallas and Garland Richards, owner of Ft. Chadbourne will speak briefly about the film's development and the status of the historic forts in Texas. Once the film is shown it will be followed by a brief question and answer session to end the evening. Tickets will be $10 for non-members and free for all members. As seating is limited, advance reservations are recommended.
